Our client is looking for an SAP FICO Business Analyst to join our SAP team as a Business Analyst, SAP for the FICO module. Reporting to the Manager MIS, the SAP FICO Business Analyst, will drive analysis and efforts in design, configuration, development and delivering changes to the SAP application to meet business needs and corporate objectives
 
Main Job Responsibilities                                                                                                         
  • Support daily operations, including troubleshooting and resolving SAP issues
  • Act as a MIS Business Partner for Finance team to understand business needs and strategies and support existing tools and processes
  • Lead design sessions and collaborate with business and development teams (incl. third party) to analyze, collect requirements and design solutions
  • Produce detailed and concise business requirement documents and technical specification documents
  • Configure the SAP system to meet business objectives and according to SAP best practice
  • Write test plans, participate in functional/integration testing and support testing activities with the business and third party vendors
  • Participate and support in training for business users
  • Support SAP security, including role design and segregation of duty (SOD) compliance
  • Support IT and financial audits
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in the field of Information Technology or Business Administration
  • 5+ years experience as a SAP FICO Analyst
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP FICO module and configuration (SAP certification an asset)
  • Knowledge of other SAP modules (SD, MM, etc) is a plus
  • Understanding of SAP development (ABAP) and interface capabilities (Idoc, webservices, etc)
  • Experience with SAP Security, Security Weaver or similar (GRC tools) is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken). French an asset
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change
  • Demonstrates superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrates superior analytical skills in evaluating business requirements, issues, managing complex challenges to enable proposal of appropriate cost-effective solutions
  • Team Player
  • Able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
